Bravo 22, 'The Two Worlds of Charlie F' Premiere
 The Two Worlds of Charlie F by Bravo 22 Company held its worls premiere at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on January 22nd.
The company of injured, wounded or sick serving soldiers were formed as a collabaration between The Royal British Legion and Masterclass and the play tells the story of their real life experiences.

Jump4Heroes Christmas Video
 Jump4Heroes, The Royal British Legion Extreme Human Flight Display Team, brought Christmas joy to the children of 29 Regiment at Duke of Gloucester Barracks near Cirencester.
The team sky dived into the barracks dressed as Santa as distributed toys, kindly supplied by Vivid Imaginations, to the kids.

The Royal British Legion Centre For Blast Injury Studies Launch
 The Royal British Legion Centre For Blast Injury Studies at Imperial College London is the first collaboration of its kind in the UK, where civilian engineers and scientists will work alongside military doctors, supported by charitable funding, to reduce the effects of roadside bombs or Improvised Explosive Devices.

Bravo 22 Company - About the Project
 The Bravo 22 Company will present two performances only of a new play based on their experiences in conflict and in recovery, entitled The Two Worlds of Charlie F, under the artistic auspices of Trevor Nunn and with the support of Ray Winstone as the company's ambassador.
The aim of the project is to use a learning environment to aid the recovery of wounded, injured and sick Service personnel. The project will introduce the Service personnel involved to leading theatrical professionals and will give early Service leaders career opportunities in the theatrical industry.

Military Wives 'Wherever You Are' Single Launch
 The Military Wives Choir from BBC 2's hit show The Choir are making a bid for Christmas No. 1 with their debut single 'Wherever You Are' which they launched with Radio 2's Chris Evans and their conductor Gareth Malone.
The single is raising money for The Royal British Legion and SSAFA Forces Help and is released on December 19th and is available to pre-order now.

Silence in the Square 2011

Takeover Day at The National Memorial Arboretum
 The National Memorial Arboretum joined in the Children's Commisioner's annual Takeover Day. Students from a schools in Birmingham worked with Glenn Howells Architechts to design the new visitors' centre at the Arboretum.

L/Cpl Tyler Christopher, Legion Beneficiary
 27 year-old soldier L/Cpl Tyler Christopher currently serving in the 4th Battallion The Rifles in the Army was injured by an IED in Afghanistan in 2009. As a result of the blast he had to have both legs amputated above the knee, as well as nearly losing his arm and suffering abdominal injuries. After recovering in Selly Oak Hospital, he was referred to Headley Court for rehabilitation, and travelled between Headley Court and his mum's house in South Wales. During this time the Legion stepped in, as part of its Immediate Needs assistance and provided a handy man through its Poppy Calls scheme to carry out essential and urgent home adaptations.

Sam Bowen, Legion Beneficiary
 25 year-old Samantha served as a Gnr in the Royal Artillery between 2003 and 2008. Whilst on a tour of Iraq in 2006 mortar fire left her badly injured with shrapnel in her leg and a shattered ankle. She spent 11 months in Selly Oak Hospital recovering and has had scores of operations on her leg. She will most probably face amputation in the near future. She was medically discharged and entitled to compensation from the MoD. The Legion represented her in her appeal and she was eventually awarded a much higher tariff.

Aron Shelton, Legion Beneficiary
 Aron, 27, lost his leg in Afghanistan in 2007 when the vehicle he and his mates were travelling in hit a roadside bomb. When his Disability Living Allowance was reduced, the Legion intervened and represented him at a Tribunal heard in September 2011. The appeal was successful and his allowance, which pays for a specially adapted car, was returned to him

The Soldiers perform at 10 Downing St
 The Soldiers visited 10 Downing St to perform the official Poppy Appeal single for Prime Minister David Cameron.
